These rooms were a part of LARK’s 2018 expansion. This project transformed not only the guest experience at The LARK but also construction within The Nest by utilizing the CLT construction method.
During construction, the team used the CLT Construction method. This method uses Cross-Laminated Timber, an engineered wood product consisting of layers of kiln-dried dimension lumber. Implementing this construction method had two key benefits: It indefinitely improved the guest experience and reduced The LARK’s environmental impact during construction. Guests who stay in our West Rooms will experience refined in-room acoustics, improved indoor air quality, more consistent thermal comfort, and reduced stress from the Biophilic Design. During construction, this method produced less CO2 and helped reduce our carbon footprint at The LARK.
The West Rooms feature interior entryways, elevator access, updated in-room acoustics, fridges, high ceilings, plush bathrobes, complimentary WiFi, air conditioning, hairdryers, HD flat-screen TVs, MALIN+GOETZ toiletries, and more.
