Crosscut Mountain Sports Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the Bozeman community and visitors alike. We are a summer and winter trail center offering outdoor recreation for all ages and abilities. Located 17 miles north of Bozeman in the heart of the Bridger Range, Crosscut is a 500-acre summer and winter trail center adjacent to Bridger Bowl and the Custer Gallatin National Forest.

Crosscut in the Summer
Crosscut’s summer trail system is free and open to the public from June through October (until the snow falls). We offer 15 miles of singletrack trails for mountain biking, hiking, and trail running. In the summer months, we operate on a voluntary trail pass. Summer offerings include mountain bike rentals, adventures for groups or individuals, lessons, clinics, and events.
Crosscut in the Winter
Crosscut’s groomed winter trail system is generally open from mid-December through late March. We offer 45km of groomed winter trails for Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and fat biking. We offer ski and snowshoe rentals, adventures for groups or individuals, lessons, clinics, and events. During winter operations, the trails are accessed by purchasing a day pass or season pass.
Located only one minute from our lobby, and upstairs at the Rialto, gute Laune is a German-inspired and Montana-made wurstbar with the best spirit.
